God, his name which is pronounced "Yahweh" and written  יהוה or (YHWH) in Hebrew created us from dust.  In fact he created all things in the heavens and the earth. But he was not alone, Jesus which is pronounced "Yeshua" in Hebrew and written יֵשׁוּע has been with God from the beginning. Jesus has always been with God, who always existed.  In Genesis 1:26. we read.  " Then said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness...".

God through his Son created all things, and you were created with a purpose. Now is the time to start living the life He planned for you and watch Him bless you with a life more fulfilling than anything you can ever create on your own. No matter what your flesh is telling you about yourself-- especially anything negative, guilt filled, or hurtful--put those thoughts out of your mind completely because God made you for a special purpose.  It doesn't matter what color your skin is, what culture you are from, if your're handicapped, have any learning disability, or any other issue or problem categorized by the world. Think about God and Jesus.  Everything about God and Jesus is all good, all pure, and all holy.  Dwell on these things, not on the media or other people's issues.  Pray for people and for your own needs as well.  

God is perfect, and He made you in His image.  We read in Genesis 1:27,  "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."  Do not waste your time thinking negative thoughts or comparing yourself to anyone or anything.  Yes, according to the word do not compare yourself to anyone or anything.  This is written, Galations 6:4, "Each one should test his own actions.  Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load."  Be happy and content in who you are and how God made you.  Comparing enables the enemy to bring about confusion and thoughts of inadequacy in yourself.  

God made you beautiful just as you are right now.  Jeremiah 1:1 reads, "The word of the Lord came to me saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."'  Each of us has our own purpose to do, God's will, just as Jeremiah had.  We have to believe this and ask God for his help and guidence.  We may need to make some changes to our lifestyle.  He will help you to figure all this out by following the steps listed on The Most Important prayer page. When you trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, you can go to Him and receive His Forgiveness for your sins when you repent.  He will remove them from you as far as the east is from the west, and He will throw them into the sea of forgetfulness.

Put away all evil thoughts and take each thought captive in the name of Jesus and by the blood of Jesus!  It is written in 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world.  On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.  And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete."

Want to Start Your Day in the Right Way?

It is wise to have prayer be the first thing that comes  from your lips when you awaken. Thank the Lord for another new day when you open your eyes.  Thank God for your life, and ask Him to guide you throughout the day.  You might want to print out this  scripture and have it somewhere wher you will see it every morning as you are getting ready for the day: 

Psalm 103:19

The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.

It really puts everything into perspective. If our Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all, then we can trust Him to guide us through His Holy Spirit and to help us with any difficulties that we may encounter.

Sometimes our challenges in life are a tool God uses to teach us.   Other times He is simply waiting for us to surrender something over to Him, perhaps some type of sin or attitude that prevents us from growing into our fullest potential. God is love, and He loves you no matter what your past was.  God's son Jesus paid the price for your sins(past, present and future) so that you could be adopted as a child of God, could have a personal relationship with Him, and could have life eternal with Him in heaven.  Remember that this does not give you a free pass to sin. Don't let the devil fool you.

Saul in the Bible was a persecutor of Christians before Jesus got hold of his wretched heart. When he surrendered his ways over to Christ, he was renamed Paul and went on to preach, write many books in the Bible and win souls. Don't think for a second that you are too far gone to be used by God to win souls.  That is a lie that you need to let go of and give it to the Lord Jesus.  Lay it down right there at the cross and leave it there.  Because He can lead you in ways that you cannot ever imagine.  Just know it works because the Holy Spirit is at work within you.  Rest assured in God's truth that Jesus is Lord of your life and helping you make the right choices each and every day.
