Why am I Here ?

Many people may ponder this question their whole lives and never find the true answer.  This question is answered right here, so you do not have to look any further.  The answer is why we offer you this website and what we live for every single day.  The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer, who was sent by God, as our living sacrifice. Jesus paid the price for our sins, so that we could receive salvation and have a personal relationship with God receiving eternal life. This is the missing piece that is giving purpose to our lives, to give glory and honor to God, by sharing the gospel which is the good news to others. Once we have said the prayer of salvation our walk with the Lord will provide the clairity that we have always longed for. We can begin to ask God to lead us toward our purpose in Him, so that our service is fruitful, producing good results. Some people become missionaries, some become pastors, some become teachers, others become caregivers, or stay at home moms pouring love into their children and teaching them about God. Whatever it is that God has given you talent to do, you can use that ability to share the good news of Jesus Christ, to be His witness, and further His Kingdom.

Saying the prayer of salvation and believing it with all your heart is the first step to starting your journey being a new person in Christ Jesus.  Your assurance is in Him alone.  If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, mind, body and soul that Jesus died for your sins, and arose by God from the dead, making a way for you to become a child of God, you will be saved. He will send his Holy Spirit to live within you, to guide you and to help you and teach you. Christ ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father, ever interceding on our behalf. That is why we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus.

How can I know I'll go to heaven? It is written in the word and here Jesus is speaking to his disciples in John 14:1-6 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going."  Thomas said to him, "Lord we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered," I am the way and the truth and the life; No one comes to the Father except through me.  If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well.  From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Witnessing: We are all here to tell others the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to be living examples of Christ's love by obeying the Word and the Holy Spirit living within us.

God's Power is all we need. We read in 2 Peter 1:3-9 "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.  Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.  For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins."

Don't look back: Remember that, after saying the salvation prayer, you do not need to look back on your past sins any longer. God has forgotten them, and you should too. Instead, look ahead because you are saved--or born again-- and are a new creation in Christ Jesus.  The Bible is filled with the promises from God that you can look on and stand on in prayer. Hope in Him alone, not in the things of this world, where there are setbacks and pain.  Look to Him and live with His Holy Spirit within you.  You are no longer alone in your walk.   Knowing that makes all the difference in the world.

Our bodies are temples.  In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 we read "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.  Therefore honor God with your body."

Crucify your flesh or sinful nature daily, just like Christ did for you on the cross.  Do not do anything in excess but in moderation like Jesus did while He was in the flesh on earth.  For example, getting drunk on alcohol leads to debauchery. Even food, something we all enjoy should be eaten in moderation.  Overeating leads to weight gain and an unhealthy body.  Even the way we dress should be in moderation and should not give anyone any reason to think we are not honoring God. When we are at work, we should do our work as though doing it for God. Be a living example for others. In doing so they may want  to ask you about this special gift you have.  If you want to indulge in anything indulge in the Lord.  It is the one thing that will not affect you harmfully, instead it will enlighten you.  Rise above the temptations in this world as Jesus did.  We need to rise up and be the best we can be for the Lord God of Heaven and Earth.  Put nothing above the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God Our Heavenly Father.  He is the answer and He knows why we are here.  1 Corinthians 15:22 tells us "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive."

Jesus explains to the disciples why a man was born blind since birth. John 9:3-4 "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life."

Healing: There are also healings that can be done through God if we believe by faith and do not accept the condition as permanent. The man blind since birth received his sight. He had a purpose which was to show the will and work of God.  We were all made to know God. Deep down within us, there is a void that only God can fill.  We can try to satisfy it with worldly things that only lead to temporary enjoyment, and ultimately to emptiness; but living life that way will not please God and could become a cycle of trying many things to fill that void within us with worldly things when only God can fill it.  Often our actions have long term health effects. Once the initial thrill is gone, depression, longing, bordom, or searching resumes. Too many people are busy looking for love in all the wrong places. Receive love by the one who first showed us love, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  He is able to give us physical healings from sickness, diseases and infections, as well as, emotional and mental healings also. It is all done by the power and in the blood of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 53:5NIV But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."

We are here to Glorify God in everything we do. Psalm 22:10 reads "From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother's womb you have been my God." We were created for Him to give Him all the glory and honor. We should not love anything or anyone more than the Lord God Almighty. Always make him number one, carry His cross daily both by praising Him and living for Him. It is also written Proverbs 16:4, "The Lord works out everything for his own ends--even the wicked for a day of disaster."

God chose us: Ephesians 1:4-9 reads, "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight; In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding."

Ephesians 1:11-14 states, "In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.  And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-- to the praise of his glory."

It is a wonderful thing to know with all your heart. that you are the one God has chosen to love.  He chose you to believe and to be marked by the Holy Spirit within. You are His and He is your heavenly Father.  No matter what happens to you in this world, no matter what your sufferings are, you are not alone. He is with you fighting for you every step of the way.  A great reward awaits you in heaven, so be sure to love and serve others to the glory of God and to bring the good news of the gospel to anyone who will listen. These actions will be stored up as treasures for you in heaven, where moth and rust will never destroy. You cannot take anything with you from earth when you die, except the love you make in Jesus' name.  Keep on falling more in love with Jesus each and every new day, and bring God glory in all you do, listening and obeying His Holy Spirit who lives within you.
